Amazon quietly launches Prime Gaming in India

Prime Gaming

Amazon India has quietly launched Prime Gaming in India. Prime Gaming is a subscription service that offers several titles to Prime members. Users get access to a range of mobile games and PC games along with in-game items at no additional cost.

The company adds several new titles to Prime gaming each month. For now, the company is offering loot-boxes and in-gaming content for several games including League of Legends, DeathLoop, Quake, COD Season 1, EA Madden 23, FIFA 23, Apex Legends, Destiny 2, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

All the games that you claim on Prime Gaming will be yours forever to keep. To claim the free reward of a game, you need to link the respective game client account with Prime Gaming.

Prime Gaming has been available in several other countries but not in India. Now that the service is being launched in India, Indian gamers can also enjoy the benefits of Prime Gaming.

When I tried accessing Prime Gaming, I was able to access the website but couldn’t try Prime Gaming with my Prime membership. After changing the country to India, I was redirected to Amazon’s Prime membership page. Returning to Prime Gaming was still asking me to subscribe to Prime.

With Prime Gaming, Amazon’s Prime subscription becomes even better. Prime subscription costs Rs. 179 per month or Rs. 1499 per year. Amazon’s Prime membership also offers free shipping, Amazon Prime Video, and Amazon Prime Music services.
