YouTube is getting separate tabs for Videos, Shorts, and Live Videos

YouTube redesign

YouTube has started rolling out a new design that adds separate tabs for Live Videos, Shorts, and Videos. This new design will make it simple to find different types of videos on a creator’s channel.

The video tab will show all the long-form video content posted by the creator. The Shorts tab includes shorts and the Live tab will show all live streams. The company has also confirmed that Shorts and live streams will no longer be visible in the videos tab.

Youtube claims it made these changes after listening to user feedback. It will also make it easier for viewers to find content on a creator’s YouTube channel.

This move also aims to improve views on shorts and other video content. People who want to watch only short videos can directly move to the Short tab and watch Shorts in the Shorts feed.

The company also recently introduced YouTube handles in the same way we have on Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms. It will help creators easily promote their channel and viewers can also easily find content from creators quickly.

The new update is now live and will be available across the platforms in the coming days.
