Valve has updated its mobile app and the redesigned app is now available for Android and iOS. The company has rebuilt the app on a new framework to offer a modern design. The app also brings the ability to log in using QR codes.

With the new Log in method, users get a new way to access their steam account without needing to type in their username and password. Soon after scanning the QR code, it shows a map with the approximate location of the device. So, you know if you are approving your own login attempt. The app also uses two-factor authentication to verify your identity.

If you still try to log in using a username and password, the app will ask you to authorize the login attempt. You can always review and revoke access to an authorized device whenever you want.

The Steam app now shows all your games in the Library. Clicking on a game gives you an option to remotely download the game to your PC. You can also uninstall the game directly from the app if you want.

The app also includes support for using multiple Steam accounts in the app. You can customize the Steam notifications including friend requests, wishlists, sales, comments, trades, and more. It also lets you approve Trades to make sure you don’t leave any item without your approval.
