Twitter has introduced a new update that now lets users post images, videos, and GIFs in one tweet. You can add up to four videos, images, and/or GIFs per Tweet. The company has also announced the feature in an official blog post.
Today I saw this notification when I tried to compose a new tweet. The notification still says “We’re testing.”
If you want to add mixed media in a Tweet, just write a tweet and then select media files you want to add to the Tweet. Twitter suggests to add an ALT tag or descriptive text for each media to make them more accessible on the platform.
The feature is now live on both Android and iOS. Update the app if you cannot add mixed media in the Tweet. Not sure when the feature will be available on the web.
