Twitter confirmed it is testing NFT Tweet Tiles. Tweet Tiles will display the artwork in a different Tweet card with the name of the NFT, the name of the creator, and a link to the marketplace listing. It is being tested and is only available to select users on the platform across iOS and the website.

The company has partnered with four partners: Magic Eden, protocol Rarible, Dapper Labs, and Jump.trade. These partners will be available to display colorful NFTs directly within Tweets. Any NFT purchase through the Tweet Tile will always be done via the hosting marketplace. Twitter has no role in any NFT transaction.

Twitter already supports NFTs as verified profile pictures but the feature is only available through a Twitter Blue subscription. It also only supports Ethereum NFTs.

In different news, Elon Musk has closed the Twitter deal and is taking Twitter private. He has also fired some of the top Twitter executives. In the coming weeks, we will also see several changes in the management and the platform.
