Redmi has launched its latest budget smartphone Redmi A1+ in India. The phone features a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display, Helio A22 SoC, Android 12 Go Edition, up to 3GB RAM, dual rear camera, 5 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. The phone starts at Rs. 6999.
Redmi A1+ features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 400 nits brightness and a 20:9 aspect ratio display. The display also has scratch resistant glass. The phone runs Android 12 Go Edition out of the box. Redmi promises 2 years of timely security updates.
It packs a 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor and IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU. The phone has 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM options. Both the models come with 32GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage with an option to expand storage up to 512GB via microSD card.
The dual rear camera setup includes 8 megapixels primary camera and a secondary depth camera. For selfies, the phone has 5 megapixels front-facing camera. The rear camera and front camera can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
Redmi A1+ measures 164.9x 76.75x 9.09mm and weighs 192g. It also has a P2i coating to offer splash resistance. The phone comes in Light Blue, Black, and Light Green colors.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and MicroUSB. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back panel to unlock your phone instantly. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging. The company promises 30 hours of calling and 161 hours of music playback.
