Oppo just launched its latest smartphone Oppo A77s in its A series in India. The phone comes with a 6.56-inch 90HZ display, Snapdragon 680 SoC, 8GB RAM, 50+2MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. Oppo A77s is priced at Rs. 17999.
Oppo A77s features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with 600 nits peak brightness. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and comes with Panda glass protection. It has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The phone runs ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.
It packs Octa Core Snapdragon 680 6nm processor and Adreno 610 GPU. The phone packs 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and features RAM expansion technology that can add up to 5GB of virtual RAM. Oppo A77s has 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that can further be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The phone features a dual camera setup that includes 50 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels monochrome camera. It also comes with an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies.
Oppo A77s has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5Ghz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, and USB Type-C. This phone lacks 5G. At the time when Indian telecom operators are launching 5G, consumers won’t take interest in buying a 4G phone.
It packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
The phone comes in two Starry Black and Sunset Orange colors. Starry Black has a matte finish on the back and the Sunset Orange version has a leather-like back. So, both color variants slightly differ in dimensions and sizes. The Starry Black color version measures 163.74 × 75.03 × 7.99mm and weighs 187g. The Sunset Orange version measures 163.74 × 75.03 × 8.04mm and weighs 190g.
