TECNO Mobile has just launched its latest smartphone TECNO CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian in India. This is the first phone in the country that comes with a multi-color-changing back panel. It has a 6.8-inch 120Hz display, Helio G96, 8GB RAM, 64+50+2 MP rear camera, 32MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 17999.
TECNO CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display has TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission and supports Widevine L1 for high-quality streaming. There is a hole punch for the selfie camera. The phone runs HiOS 8.6 UI based on Android 12.
The phone packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G96 12nm processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.2) storage. Storage of the phone is further expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card slot.
It has a triple camera setup that includes 64 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 50 megapixels portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, and 2 megapixels portrait camera. For selfies, the phone includes a 32 megapixels front-facing camera.
The fingerprint sensor is on the side. Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, and NFC. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
TECNO CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian packs a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The company claims that the phone can be charged from 0 to 30% in 13 minutes. Tecno also promises 124 hours of music playback time and a standby time of up to 37 days.
The most notable thing about this phone is the monochrome back cover that shows multiple colors under illumination. When the phone is exposed to ultraviolet light, it shows shades of white, pink, and blue. TECNO uses Polychromatic Photoisomer Technology that uses the recovery and breakage effect of the chain of photosynthesis molecular bonds for this color-changing effect. The design of this phone is inspired by Mondrian Art which is why the phone is called TECNO CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian. The phone measures 166.79×74.55×8.58mm.
Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition is priced at Rs. 17999 and will be available for pre-booking via Amazon starting September 22.
