Back in July, Snap introduced Snapchat for web and first time went beyond mobile devices. Previously, Snapchat for web was only available for paid subscribers in select countries. Now the company has opened it for all users globally.

Snapchat for web lets users have chats and video calls with friends from a web browser. All the conversations will be synced between devices. It also offers lenses for video calls and chat reactions. The company confirmed that Snapchat for Web will also prevent people from taking screenshots. But people can always take photos of the laptop’s screen from their phone.

To access Snapchat for web, you need to open web.snapchat.com and log in with your Snapchat credentials. It will then prompt a two-step verification on your phone. Once you are logged in, you can continue your conversations.

Snapchat is trying to bring all the core features of the app to the web and offer a similar experience on the web that you get on mobile devices. The company is also planning to add Stories and Memories to Snapchat for Web.

Snapchat has also introduced lock screen widgets for the iPhone. The widget lets users create a shortcut for the conversations they want and access it quickly directly from the lock screen. The company also added Question Stickers that users can post to stories and snaps.
