Along with a budget phone Redmi A1, Xiaomi also introduced Redmi 11 Prime series in India. Redmi 11 Prime series includes Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G. These phones start at Rs. 12999.
Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G come with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with up to 500 nits brightness and up to 90Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to protect the display from scratches.
Redmi 11 Prime packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G99 6nm processor and Arm Mali-G57 MC2. On the other hand, Redmi 11 Prime comes with Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 700 7nm processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Both phones come in 4+64GB and 6+128GB models. Storage is further expandable up to 512GB with microSD.
Redmi 11 Prime 5G comes with a dual camera setup that includes 50 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. Redmi 11 Prime comes with a triple camera setup with 50 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. Both phones feature an 8-megapxiels selfie camera.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. Redmi 11 Prime 5G also supports 5G. Both phones pack a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
Redmi 11 Prime 4GB + 64GB model is priced at Rs. 12999 and the 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 14,999. Redmi 11 Prime 5G costs Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB and Rs. 15999 for 6GB + 128GB model. Both the phones will be sold from Amazon.in, mi.com, Mi Home stores and offline stores. Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be available from September 9th. The availability of Redmi 11 Prime will be confirmed later.
