At the beginning of this year during CES, Asus teased its foldable laptop Zenbook 17 Fold OLED. Now the company has officially unveiled its foldable laptop Zenbook 17 Fold OLED at IFA.

Zenbook 17 Fold OLED features a 17.3-inch foldable OLED display with 2560×1920 pixels resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. The display has 500 nits of brightness. When the laptop is unfolded, it can stand on its kickstand to act as a monitor. The display supports Dolby Vision and HDR. It also has the TÜV Rheinland certification. Then you can pair it with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to work on it.

It has a 180-degree hinge and allows the device to be used in several modes including Desktop mode, Laptop mode (with Bluetooth keyboard), Laptop mode (with virtual keyboard), Tablet mode, Reader mode, and Extended mode.

Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is powered by Intel Core i7-1250U processor and Intel’s Iris Xe. The laptop has 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

There is also an IR HD camera with ASUS AdaptiveLock and the new Intel Visual Sensing Controller chip. The laptop supports fast face unlock. There is also a 5 megapixels web camera that supports ASUS 3D Noise Reduction technology.

It packs HARMAN Kardon’s quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. The laptop has two USB-C ports with support for display output and charging. It supports 65W charging.

Zenbook 17 Fold OLED packs a 75Whr 4-cell battery and promises 9.5 hours of battery backup.

Zenbook 17 Fold OLED weighs just 1.5kg. The laptop has MIL-STD-810H US certification.

Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is priced at €3,999/$3,499 and will be available in Q4 2022.
