Samsung just launched its newly announced Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series in India. Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series includes Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro. These watches start at Rs. 27999 in the country and will be up to order starting August 16.
Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro have similar specs. The primary difference is in the build quality. Samsung Galaxy Watch5 pro has a durable titanium casing compared to the Armor Aluminum casing in the Galaxy Watch5. Both the watches are 5ATM + IP68 rated and MIL-STD-810G compatible.
Galaxy Watch5 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes with 1.2-inch and 1.4-inch Super AMOLED displays respectively. Galaxy Watch5 Pro has a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display. These smartwatches pack a Dual-Core Exynos W920 processor, 1.5GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage.
Samsung has included its BioActive Sensor on these smartwatches. This sensor measures measure heart rate, blood oxygen level, and stress. Other sensors include Temperature Sensor, Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, and Light Sensor.
Samsung promises that One UI Watch4.5 has been improved to offer more comprehensive typing experience and more convenient way to initiate calls.
