Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched its latest mid-range smartphone Redmi Note 11 SE in India. The phone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Helio G95 SoC, 6GB RAM, 64+8+2+2MP rear camera, 13MP front camera, and a 5000mAh with support for 33W fast charging. The phone starts at Rs. 13499.
Redmi Note 11 SE features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 1100 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There is a hole punch for the selfie camera. It runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.
The phone packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G95 12nm processor and Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. Helio G95 is a powerful SoC with two high-performance cores and 6 efficiency cores. The phone also has 6GB RAM and 64GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 512GB.
The rear camera setup includes 64 megapixels primary camera with LED flash, 8 megapixels 118° ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 13 megapixels selfie camera.
The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor. With an IR sensor, this phone can control several home appliances using the MI Remote app. It also has stereo speakers and Hi-Res audio support.
Redmi Note 11 SE is IP53 water resistant. It measures 160.46×74.5×8.3mm and weighs 178.8g. The phone has a hole-punch for the selfie camera. On the right, it has a power button and a volume rocker. The power button also includes a fingerprint scanner to quickly unlock the phone. Redmi Note 11 SE comes in Bifrost Blue, Cosmic White, Space Black, and Thunder Purple colors.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The sad thing about this phone is that it won’t come with a charger. You will have to buy it separately. The charger costs Rs. 499 but will be available at Rs. 199.
Redmi Note 11 SE is priced at Rs. 13,499. It will be available from mi.com and Flipkart starting from August 31st.
