Redmi also announced its latest smartphone Redmi K50 Ultra in China. The phone comes with a 6.67″ 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen+ 1, up to 12GB RAM, 108+8+2 MP rear camera, 20 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery.
Redmi K50 Ultra features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and Adreno next-gen GPU. Redmi K50 Ultra includes a VC heat dissipation area of 3725mm² and a total 12-layer heat dissipation area of 30000mm². It comes in 4 different variants including 8+128GB, 8+256GB, 12+256GB, and 12+512GB.
It has a triple camera setup with 108 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide angle camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. The phone also has 20 megapixels selfie camera.
Redmi K50 Ultra has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor. The phone has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. It lacks an audio jack and supports USB Type-C audio.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA,Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, USB Type-C, and NFC. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The phone can be charged up to 100% in 19 minutes.
Redmi also introduced Redmi K50 Ultra Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Summer Edition. This phone has the team’s signature silver, petroleum green lines, and carbon fiber textures in the design. It comes only in 12GB+512GB.
Redmi K50 Ultra comes in Black, Silver and Blue colors. It measures 163.1×75.9×8.6mm and weighs 202g.
Redmi K50 Ultra starts at 2,999 yuan. The Ultra Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Summer Edition is priced at 4,199 yuan.
