Nvidia GeForce Now gets support for 1440p resolution at 120fps on browser

Nvidia has updated its GeForce Now game streaming service to add support for 1440p resolution at 120fps. The feature is initially limited to Chrome and Edge on PC. You also need to be on the RTX 3080 tier to get access to a higher resolution.

If you are an RTX 3080 member, you can open play.geforcenow.com on Chrome and Edge browsers. The. Go to GeForce Now Settings and select the new resolution and refresh rate.

Nvidia launched RTX 3080 GeForce Now membership tier last year with support for up to 1440p resolution with 120fps on PCs and Macs. But you needed to download dedicated Mac or Windows apps to get access to higher resolution and frame rate. The web version was limited to 1080p at 60fps.

RTX 3080 tier costs $19.99 per month or $99.99 for six months. You get access to more than 1300 titles on GeForce Now.
