Motorola Edge (2022) with 6.6-inch 144Hz OLED display, Dimensity 1050, 5000mAh battery announced

Motorola has announced its latest Moto Edge 2022 edition. The phone has a 6.6-inch FHD+ 144Hz OLED display, Dimensity 1050 SoC, 8GB RAM, 50+13+2 MP rear camera, 32 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery.

Motorola Edge (2022) features a 6.6-inch full HD+ OLED display with 10-bit color space and HDR10+ support. The display also has a 144Hz refresh rate. It runs MyUX based on Android 12 out of the box. Motorola [romises 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of bi-monthly security updates.

It packs Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 1050 6nm processor with Arm Mali-G610 MC3 GPU. The phone has 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The rear camera setup of the phone includes 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 13 megapixels ultra-wide camera with macro mode, and 2 megapixels depth camera. It also has 32 megapixels selfie camera with Quad Pixel technology.

Motorola Edge (2022) has stereo speakers and 3 microphones system to record clear audio. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Connectivity options include 5G sub-6 + mmWave, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

The phone has IP52 water resistance. It comes in Mineral Gray color only. The phone weighs 170g and has 160.86×74.24×7.99mm dimensions.
