DJI has unveiled its new drone called Avata. This drone can be paired with DJI Goggles 2 and the DJI Motion controller to offer a first-person view (FPV) flight experience. You can control the drone using DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 and DJI FPV Googles V2.
DJI Avata features a 155-degree field-of-view ultrawide camera and can shoot in 4K at 60fps. The drone also features DJI’s RockSteady 2.0 and HorizonSteady to record smooth footage. So, you can Crete professional content.
The drone has built-in propeller guards to keep it stay in the air even if it comes in contact with objects. The drone also features a Turtle Mode that allows the drone to right itself when it lands on its back.
DJI Avata can be operated in three modes: Normal, Manual, and Sport mode. It can hover like a traditional drone, zoom in and out of tight spaces, can accelerate quickly, and stop in a fraction of a second.
The drone packs a 2,420 mAh battery and promises 18-minute of flight time.
DJI Avata is now available from DJI’s online store for $629. If you get the drone with DJI Goggles 2 and the DJI Motion Controller, it will cost $1,388.
