Samsung announces Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled on August 10

Samsung has officially announced the launch event for its next-gen foldable smartphones. The company will hold Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10. The event poster also mentions the tagline ‘Unfold Your World’ and the teaser video reveals a foldable phone.

Earlier rumors suggest that the company will launch Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 foldable phones at the event. Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds Pro 2 are also expected to launch at this event.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to come with a 6.2-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch internal display. The internal display will feature an in-screen camera, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4nm SoC, 12GB RAM, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 4400mAh battery. The rear camera setup will include a 50 MP primary camera, 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera.

Galaxy Z Flip4 is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ foldable display along with a 2.1-inch cover display. This phone will also pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4nm SoC along with 8GB RAM. It will come with a 12+12 MP dual camera, 10 MP front camera, and 3700mAh battery.

We are also expecting an improved Galaxy Buds Pro 2 with a better battery and improved ANC. The Galaxy Watch5 series is also expected to be official at the event. The next-gen smartwatches will come with improved features, wearOS 3.5, and better design.
