Google company has launched a new Google Chromecast with Google TV in India to compete against Amazon’s Fire TV 4K. This Chromecast with Google TV launched in US two years back in September 2020. Now, it is officially launched in India after two years. It will be available on Flipkart at Rs. 6399 and will be soon available on offline stores also.

The Chromecast with Google TV comes in a compact and thin design. User can plug it into the TV’s HDMI port and tucks behind the screen. This streaming device converts non-smart TVs into smart TVs and also works for Smart Tvs with older versions of Android. The device comes with Bluetooth remote with IR, volume rockers, and hotkeys for YouTube, Netflix, and Google Assistant.

It is a 4K streaming device that offers up to 4K HDR output at up to 60 frames per second and it also supports HDR10 and HDR10+ formats. It comes with Dolby Vision and supports HDMI pass-through of Dolby audio content. Other features of this streaming device are 2GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), and Bluetooth.

This Chromecast with Google TV will be available in only Snow (white) color. Google Chromecast users will get a YouTube Premium trial of up to 3 months with the device. Also,  Buyers of this newly launched device can get the  Google Nest hub at just Rs 4,999 and the Google Nest mini at Rs 1,999.
