Amazon has launched its latest rugged smartwatch Amazfit T-Rex 2 in India. The smartwatch was officially announced a month ago. Amazfit T-Rex 2 comes with a larger display, improved GPS, 10ATM water resistance, and 15 MIL-STD-810G ratings. It is priced at Rs. 15999.

Amazfit T-Rex 2 is a rugged smartphone with 15 MIL-STD-810G ratings and 10ATM water resistance. It can also survive in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. It measures 47.1×47.1×13.66mm and weighs 66.5g. Amazfit T-Rex 2 comes in Astro Black and Gold, Wild Green, Ember Black, and Desert Khaki colors.

The smartwatch comes with a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 1,000 nits peak brightness and 454×454 px resolution. It has four buttons and also offers Always-on Display.

It includes a BioTracker 3.0 PPG sensor with six photodiodes to offer all-day SpO2, heart rate, stress, and sleep tracking. The smartwatch comes with over 150 sports modes and detailed training data. It includes dual-band GPS with support for all five major satellite positioning systems.

Amazfit T-Rex 2 runs Zepp OS out of the box. It also supports third-party apps like linking your GoPro camera. The watch supports smartphones running Android 7.0 and later, iOS 12.0 or later.

Amazfit promises up to 24 days of battery life with typical usage and 10 days with heavier tasks.

Amazfit T-Rex 2 is priced at Rs. 15,999 and will be available on Amazon.in, Amazfit’s website and Helios stores from July 2nd.
