After several teasers and rumors, Nothing has confirmed that the company will launch its first smartphone Nothing Phone (1) in India and globally on July 12. The company will host a ‘Return to Instinct’ event to unveil the phone.

Nothing Phone (1) will come with a flagship Qualcomm SoC and Nothing OS based on Android. Interested users can already sign up to get notifications about the event on the official website.

A Twitter tipster @heyitsyogesh claims that the phone will be manufactured locally in India to keep the pricing under control for the Indian market. Local production in the country should begin soon.

Reports suggest the phone will come with a transparent design similar to its OWS. Leaks suggest that the phone features a 6.55-inch OLED display with flat edges. We still don’t know much about the phone but I expect official teasers soon to confirm specs and other things about the phone.

Nothing Phone (1) will be the second device from the company. The first product from the company was Nothing ear (1) TWS launched last year in July,
