Microsoft has launched its new compact and lightweight Surface laptop called Surface Laptop Go 2. The laptop starts at $599. The laptop seems a minor refresh over its predecessor.
Surface Laptop Go 2 features a 12.4-inch PixelSense Display with 1536 x 1024 pixels resolution. The display boasts max brightness of 330 nits. It is powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor. There are three RAM and storage models including 4GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB.
Surface Laptop Go 2 runs Windows 11 out of the box. The laptop also has Fingerprint embedded into the power button with Windows Hello and One Touch sign-in on select models.
The laptop includes a full-size USB-A port, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Surface Connect port for charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. It also has a 720p HD front camera, Dual far-field Studio Mics, and Omnisonic Speakers with Dolby Audio Premium.
Microsoft claims that the laptop will offer up to 13.5 hours of battery life on a single charge.
It comes in four color options including Platinum, Sage, Ice Blue, and Sandstone. The laptop measures 10.95 x 8.12 x 0.62 inches and weighs 1.127 grams.

Surface Laptop Go 2 is now up for pre-order on Microsoft’s website and will be available starting June 7.
