Ubisoft has today announced that its upcoming free-to-play title Roller Champions is coming on May 25. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will also be available for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 through backward compatibility. The company will also release the game on Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and Amazon Luna later.
The game supports cross-platform play and progression. Ubisoft has also confirmed that crossplay will not be enabled in custom matches and in team creation.
Roller Champions is a competitive game where two groups of three players race and try to keep possession of a ball. The team gets points for completing laps while holding the ball. If the opposing team snatches the ball, the team loses the points. Each match lasts for around 7 minutes.
The company will sell premium passes that will unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards which are not available through the in-game item shop.
