Activision has confirmed that its upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 2. The company posted a video on Twitter to confirm the launch date.
The teaser video doesn’t show any gameplay. It just reveals artwork for some of the characters. The company will reveal more information on June 8.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the sequel to 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot. The company already had a game with the exact same name released back in 2009. The company has high hopes for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 after 2021’s Call of Duty: Vanguard failed to meet expectations.
