Vivo has today announced two new smartphones Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 in China. These phones feature an E5 AMOLED 120Hz display, Dimensity 9000, and triple cameras.
Vivo X80 features a 6.78-inch full HD+ E5 AMOLED display with up to 1300 nits brightness. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10+. It runs Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean out of the box. The phone packs Octa Core Dimensity 9000 4nm processor and Mali-G710 GPU. It comes in several models including 8+128GB, 8+256GB, 12+256GB, and 12+512GB.
The phone has a triple camera that includes 50 megapixels primary camera with a Sony IMX866 RGBW sensor and OIS. It also has 12 megapixels ultra-wide camera and 12 megapixels 2X portrait camera with 20x superzoom. It also has 32 megapixels selfie camera.
There is an under-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has stereo speakers and supports USB Type-C Audio. Connectivity options include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1. It packs a 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Vivo X80 Pro also features a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display but with Quad HD+ resolution. The display has 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. It also runs Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean out of the box. The phone comes in two different processor specs: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Dimensity 9000. We cannot say what variant will hit global markets. It also has several RAM storage models including 8+256GB, 12+256GB, 12+256GB, and 12+512GB,
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera, 48 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 12 megapixels 50mm 2X portrait camera, and an 8 megapixels periscope camera with OIS, 5x optical zoom, and 60x super zoom. There is also a 32 megapixels selfie camera.
The phone features an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It also has stereo speakers and supports USB Type-C Audio. Vivo X80 Pro is IP68 Water and dust-resistant. Connectivity options are 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 (Bluetooth 5.3 in Dimensity Edition), GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1. It packs a 4700mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging support.
These phones are now up for order in China and will go on sale from April 29th.
