Samsung has officially announced the launch of its new smartphone Galaxy M53 5G in the M series of smartphones. This phone is the successor to Galaxy M52 which was launched last year.
Samsung Galaxy M53 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O Display with a hole punch. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It runs Android 12 with Samsung One UI 4.1 out of the box.
The phone packs Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 900 6nm processor with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
There is a quad-camera setup that includes 108 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 32 megapixels selfie camera.
Galaxy M53 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It supports USB Type-C audio and Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy M53 5G comes in Blue and Green colors. The company has not yet confirmed the pricing and availability details.
