Motorola has launched two new smartphones Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 and Moto G 5G 2022. The new Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 is the successor to Moto G Stylus but brings a higher refresh rate display, upgraded camera, and improved processor.
Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone runs Android 12 with myUX out of the box. It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 695 processor and Adreno 619L GPU. The device has 8GB RAM and 2566GB storage. Storage is further expandable up to 1TB.
The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixels primary camera with OIS, 8-megapixels 118° ultra-wide camera, and 2-megapixels macro camera. It also has 16 megapixels selfie camera.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone also comes with a built-in Stylus, It has a P2i coating to offer a water repellent body. Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 measures 168.9 x 75.8 x 9.3mm and weighs 215g.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and USB Type-C. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for TurboPower 10 and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 costs $499.99 and will be available in the U.S. unlocked at Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon.com, and Motorola.com starting April 28.
Moto G 5G 2022 sports a 6.5-inch HD+MaxVision display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs Android 12 with myUX. The phone is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 700 7nm processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 6GB RAM and 256GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 512GB.
The phone features a triple rear camera setup on the back. It includes a 50 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. There is also 13 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies.
The fingerprint sensor is located on the side button. The phone is also IP52 water-resistant. It measures 165.4 x 75.8 x 9.44mm and weighs 204g.
Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging.
Moto G 5G 2022 is priced at $399.99 and will be available in the US and unlocked at Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon.com, and Motorola.com starting May 19.
