iQOO 9 gets a new Phoenix Orange variant in India

Back in February, iQOO launched iQOO 9 in two colors: Legend and Alpha. Now the company has added a new Phoenix Orange color variant. This one features color-changing technology. When the phone is exposed to sunlight, the rear panel changes color to orange color.

The back panel has Frosty AG Glass. When it faces sunlight or any other source of artificial UV rays the internal structure of glass molecules changes the existing color to Phoenix (Orange) color.

There is no change in the specifications. iQOO 9 is a powerful phone. It packs an Octa-Core Snapdragon 888+ 5nm processor with Adreno 660 GPU. The phone is offered with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It features a 6.56-inch Full HD+AMOLED 120Hz display. The display also has HDR10+.

The rear camera setup includes 48 megapixels primary camera with Gimbal stabilization. It also has a 13 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera, and a 13 megapixels portrait camera offering 2x optical zoom. For selfies, there is a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.

Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. There is also an under-display fingerprint sensor. iQOO 9 packs a 4350mAh battery with 120W ultra-fast flash charging.

The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 42990 and the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs. 46990.
