The original Angry Birds game is back and is now available to download from Google Play and App Store. The game is called Rovio Classics: Angry Birds. The company claims that it has rebuilt the game from the ground to offer the same experience on modern smartphones. The game costs $0.99 and has no in-app purchases or advertisements.

The company has used the Unity engine to offer a sustainable experience across different devices and platforms. Even if the game has been rebuilt, Rovio has preserved every aspect of the original Angry Birds game to keep the expereince the same. The new game includes all chapters from the original game along with all of the Easter eggs and extras.

Now when the game has no in-app purchase, Mighty Eagle will be available to all players for free.

The original Angry Birds game was removed from Play Store and App Store back in 2019. The reason for the removal was that the game was no longer fully compatible with newer devices. After the game was removed, several Angry Birds fans trended the hashtag #BringBack2012 on social media.
