TikTok is testing watch history

The popular short-video app TikTok is now testing the watch history feature that lets people see the list of videos they watched in the past. You can use this section to watch a video again if want.

A Twitter user @hammodoh1 posted the screenshot of the section where the Watch History is being added. Social media consultant Matt Navarra this tweet that caught the attention of several users. The “Watch History” option will appear under the “Content and Activity” section of Settings.

There have been a few workarounds to find out videos you have watched but this option will make it really simple to go back and find out a video you watched in the past.

This feature is being tested, so a limited number of users have access to it. The company didn’t disclose anything about this feature. So, we don’t know how many users are involved in this test and when we can expect the rollout for all users.
