Motorola has launched its new budget smartphone Moto G22 for the European market. The phone has Helio G37 SoC and a quad-camera setup.
Moto G22 features a 6.5-inch Max Vision LCD HD+ display and 90Hz refresh rate. The display boasts an 89.03% screen-to-body ratio and 268 PPI pixel density. The phone runs Android 12 out of the box.
The phone packs MediaTek Helio G37 SoC with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Storage is also expandable with a microSD card.
There is a quad-camera setup on the back that includes 50 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels 118-degree ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, and 2 megapixels depth camera. For selfies, the phone includes 16 megapixels front camera.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, Type-C and GPS. The fingerprint sensor is on the side. The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery with support for 15W charging. However, the phone comes with a 10W charger in the box.
Moto G22 comes in Cosmic Black, Pearl White, and Iceberg Blue color options. It weighs 185 grams. The phone has a water-repellent design and is made from durable acrylate polymer. Dimensions measure 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49 mm.
The phone is being rolled out in select countries in Europe. It is priced at EUR 169.99. Moto G22 will also be released in Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia in the coming weeks.
