LG has announced a new Chromebook LG 11TC50Q in South Korea. Chromebooks have gained popularity in recent years and offer a PC experience at a cheaper price. It is a good laptop for kids who need a device for online education.
LG 11TC50Q Chromebook comes with an 11.6-inch touch display. The display can be rotated to 360 degrees. So, you can either use it as a laptop or tablet depending on your need. The display offers 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. The laptop packs an Intel Celeron N5100 processor with Intel UHD Graphics. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage. There is also a microSD card slot to expand storage.
The Chromebook also features front and rear cameras. There is also a built-in microphone. So, you can use it for online classes and video calls. LG 11TC50Q Chromebook is dust and waterproof. It weighs 1.44kg which makes it easy to carry.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-A, and USB-C. The laptop also packs 47Wh battery and promises good battery life.
The laptop will be available initially in South Korea for 690,000 won ($561) from March 7. The company has not announced the pricing and availabilityfor the global market.
