Google Domains is now out of beta

Google Domains

Google launched Google Domains in beta back in 2015. Now after more than seven years, Google Domains is finally out of beta. It is now available in 26 countries and already has millions of customers.

Google is also offering offering new and returning users 20% off any single domain registration or transfer-in to Google Domains using the code DOMAINS20 until April 15.

Google Domains supports more than 300 domain endings. After buying a domain, you can either host it for free on Google Sites or pick premium partners like Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, Weebly and Bluehost for hosting your website. Google’s DNS and security tools are also available.

Google claims that Google Domains provides stable and reliable service. It also offers around-the-clock customer support from real people.

Google Domains has been in beta longer than Gmail. Most people actually forgot about it because we already have several popular domain registrars. Now Cloudflare also lets you purcahse and manage domains. So, it won’t be easy for Google Domains to acquire new customers.
