Flipkart has introduced a new Sell Back Program in the country. Under this program, the company now buys old phones online. If you sell a phone to Flipkart, you get buyback value in the form of a Flipkart Gift Voucher. You can later use this voucher to purchase anything on the e-commerce platform.
The Sell Back Program is valid for any smartphone. It is not necessarily to be bought from Flipkart.
The company has confirmed that Flipkart’s Sell Back Program is now live in around 1,700 pin codes across major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Patna, and more. If you try to sell a phone on Flipkart, you will be asked answers to three simple questions and then you will be shown the value of your phone. If you confirm the order, Flipkart’s executive will pick up the smartphone within 48 hours. Once your product has been verified, you will receive an e-voucher.
In terms and conditions, the company confirms that the final price of your phone will be evaluated after inspection of your phone. So, there could be a difference in the price shown at the time of making a sell request and in the final payment. If your phone doesn’t turn on or the information you entered in the form is wrong, Flipkart will not accept the phone.

Flipkart’s new Sell Back Program has been introduced a few days after the company bought re-commerce company Yaantra. Yaantra repairs and sells refurbished phones. All the phones company will buy under Sell Back Program will be refurbished and sold using the Yaantra platform.
