iQOO has finally confirmed the launch date of iQOO 9 series in India. The company host an online event to launch iQOO 9 series in India on February 23. The iQOO 9 series includes iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, and iQOO 9 SE. These phones were introduced in China last month. The series will offer the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC-powered smartphones to India.

Although Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S22 series will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, iQOO 9 series will go on sale in the country before Galaxy S22 series.

There could be some changes in the specs for the Indian market. iQOO 9 Pro will offer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC while the iQOO 9 packs Snapdragon 888+. The iQOO Neo 5S will be called iQOO 9 SE with a few changes.

Notable features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, 50MP camera sensor, gimbal stabilization, liquid cooling, and more. There will also be an iQOO 9 Motorsport edition in partnership with BMW.
