Xiaomi today confirmed the date for the global launch of the Redmi Note 11 series. The launch event is scheduled for January 26 at 20:00 GMT (5:30 PM IST). The event will be live-streamed on Xiaomi’s social media channels.
As per reports, global models will have different specs than the models launched in China last year. Unlike Chinese models, global models are expected to come with Snapdragon chips.
It is worth noting that Xiaomi has already launched Redmi Note 11 5G in India as Redmi Note 11T 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro as Xiaomi 11i, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ as Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. This is the reason everyone believes the global Redmi Note 11 series will have different specs as we already got those models with different names.
Xiaomi is also working on the launch of the Redmi Note 11S in India. The launch was teased last week and the phone is expected to come with 108-megapixel primary camera.
