Vivo has launched its latest smartphone Vivo Y21A in its Y-series of smartphones in India. The phone is priced at Rs. 13999.

Vivo Y21A features a 6.51-inch HD+ display with 1600×720 pixels resolution and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. It runs Android 11 with the company’s Funtouch OS 11.1 out of the box. It packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone supports Vivo’s RAM expansion technology to further expand RAM up to 1GB by using storage and RAM.

The phone has a dual-camera setup that includes 13 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also includes an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Vivo Y21A comes in Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue colors. The phone measures 164.26×76.08x8mm and weighs 182 grams. It is now available through the Vivo India e-Store as well as via partner retail stores.

It will compete directly against Redmi Note 10, Poco M3, and the Infinix Note 11S.
