Ubisoft has announced that the company has decided to discontinue the development of Hyper Scape. The game will be shut down on April 28th. The game was launched back in Summer 2020 but struggled to capture much attention.

“We have made the difficult decision to end development of Hyper Scape and shut the game down as of April 28th. We set out to create a vertical, close-quarters, and fast-paced shooter experience and we are extremely grateful to our community for joining us on our journey. We will be taking key learnings from this game into future products,” reads the official announcement.

Ubisoft tried its best to attract gamers. The company was also offering $10 Ubisoft store coupons just to get people to try this free-to-play game. It also gets several Twitch streamers to play the game and make a buzz about it. But the game couldn’t last linger.
