Realme just announced the launch of its new smartphone Realme 9i in India. The phone starts at Rs. 13999 and will be available starting 25th January.
Realme 9i features a 6.6-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It boasts 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. The phone runs Android 11 with realme UI 2.0. It is also upgradable to Android 12 with realme UI 3.0. There is a hole punch on the top left corner for the selfie camera.
The phone packs an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB and 6GB RAM with 128GB models. It also supports dynamic RAM expansion tech that uses ROM as a virtual RAM to extend RAM for intensive tasks. Storage is also expandable up to 1TB with microSD.
There is a triple camera setup that includes 50 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels B&W portrait camera, and a 2 megapixels macro camera. The camera app offers several features including Video, Night Mode, Panoramic view, Expert, Timelapse, Portrait Mode, HDR, Ultra macro, AI Beauty, Filter, Super Text, and Slow Motion. It also has a 16 megapixels selfie camera on the front.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs a large 5000 mAh battery with support to 33W fast charging.
Realme 9i comes in Blue Quartz and Black Quartz colors. It measures 164.4×75.7×8.4mm and weighs 190g.
