Opera has announced the launch of its new Crypto Browser that has been built around Web3. The company has released it in beta for PC, Mac, and Android. The iOS version of Opera’s new crypto browser will be released soon.

This web browser comes with a built-in non-custodial wallet with support to several blockchains including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Celo, and Nervos. So, you don’t need any third-party extensions for it. You can buy cryptocurrencies via fiat directly and send or receive cryptocurrencies directly from the browser. The company also announced partnerships with Handshake, NEAR, Polygon and Solana.

It also supports Web3, aka blockchain-based decentralized internet. It also offers access to GameFi and a dedicated section ‘Crypto Corner’ offering blockchain news.

The browser also has WhatsApp, Telegram, and Twitter integration on the sidebar for quick access to these social media services. It also has the integration of several music streaming services for listening to music while surfing the web. Crypto Browser also offers several features that we already enjoy in the Opera browser. These features include free VPN, native ad-blocker, and tracker blocker.

Back in 2018, Opera introduced a built-in Crypto wallet in its browser. But the company worked in recent years and now launched a browser dedicated to the crypto community.
