iPhone 13 Series doesn’t Support Noise Cancellation During Calls

iPhone 13

Apple Support has officially confirmed that the latest iPhone 13 series doesn’t support noise cancellation during calls. The noise cancellation reduces ambient noise on phone calls. It is surprising because Apple has been offering this for a decade and the company gave no reason why it decided to remove it.

So, you will also not see the Phone Noise Cancellation toggle in Audio/Visual settings in any of the iPhone 13 models. This toggle is still there in older iPhone models.

Several users noticed this and posted their queries on the Apple Support forum. In a reply to one such question, one of Apple’s support representatives confirmed this.

We have an update on this. Phone Noise Cancellation is not available on iPhone 13 models, which is why you do not see this option in Settings.

If you use a headphone, earphone, or TWS that features built-in noise cancellation, it will work with the calls. But there is no such thing in iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Even if these phones have a multi-mic system, Apple has disabled the noise cancellation for no reason.

Initially, people thought it was a software bug, but now it has been confirmed that the option has been removed intentionally. We are trying to reach Apple for justification. If there is anything from Apple on the issue, we will keep you posted. So, don’t forget to keep checking our articles.
