Google just launched Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) in India. It is priced at Rs. 7999 and will be available from Flipkart, Tata Cliq, and Reliance Digital from today.

Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) features a dedicated on-device machine learning chip. So, it can process a lot of data on the device itself enabling faster responses to several common commands.

This device comes with a 7-inch display to show different data. It can also be used as a beautiful digital photo frame. It is made from recycled materials. The company claims that plastic mechanical parts contain 54 percent recycled post-consumer plastic.

It has a full-range speaker with a 43.5 mm driver offering a 50% improvement in the bass response compared to the predecessor. There are also 3 far-field microphones for voice pickup compared to the first-gen Nest Hub.

Unlike the global version of Google Nest Hub (2nd gen), the Indian version lacks a gesture-sensing Soli tech for sleep tracking. The product features an ambient EQ light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness to match the lighting in the room.

The Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) comes in Charcoal and Charcoal colors.

It is now available in the country from Flipkart, Tata Cliq, and Reliance Digital today. Soon, it will be available through more channels.
