The company has started testing a new sharing option that lets a Clubhouse use share the link of a live room on other social networks. This link can be accessed by anyone on a web browser and won’t require a Clubhouse account.
It seems Clubhouse is late in adding web support. Its primary rival Twitter Spaces implemented web support months ago. Twitter Space was also introduced for Android much earlier than Clubhouse. Clubhouse became trending suddenly but slow rollout hurt the growth. Twitter Spaces managed to attract most users who were interested in audio conversations.
