The popular song ‘Baby Shark Dance’ has become the first video on YouTube to garner more than 10 billion views. This song once became trending due to its catchy tune and addictive lyrics. The video was released by a South Korean entertainment company called ‘Pinkfong’ back in June 2016.

It surpassed ‘Despacito’ by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee in November 2020 to become the most viewed video on YouTube and has been holding this position since then. ‘Despacito’ is still at the number 2 spot with 7.7 billion views to date.

Even if the song was made for children, it was liked by people of all age groups around the globe. This song also managed to make its way to global music charts, ranking No. 32 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No. 6 on the British Official Charts in 2019.
