Xbox to allow gamers to share gameplay clips via public links

Xbox is now making it easier to share Xbox video game clips via unique public URLs on the Xbox mobile app. This feature is being tested in the app and will soon be available to all users.

The company will also collect these links into a new “trending content” area. Here you can see what other people are playing. This section will be something like TikTok’s feed where you can keep swiping to see the next videos. It will also let users like, comment, and share a video.

Microsoft already allows gamers to share game clips and screenshots via their profile’s activity feed, social media, messages, and clubs. Now with public links, sharing will become more seamless.

For now, the company testing this feature with developers only. Soon the company will start doing beta testing with a limited set of gamers.
