Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox Game Pass for PC is now just a PC Game Pass. This rebranding has been done to avoid some confusion because Xbox Game Pass is a different plan with different games.

The new rebranding makes it clear that games available on PC subscription aren’t necessarily available on console subscriptions. PC Game Pass has its own selection of games including access to EA Play. On the other hand, Xbox Game Pass includes more than 100 console games including Xbox Game Studios titles.

Even if the company has changed the name, the PC Game Pass logo still features the Xbox icon. Maybe to keep the connection with Xbox and Microsoft.

Game Pass Ultimate is for those who play on both PC and consoles. It includes PC and console games.

Microsoft has also confirmed that a few more including Sniper Elite 5, Pigeon Simulator, the gorgeous-looking samurai side-scroller Trek to Yomi will also be going to PC Game Pass on their release day.
