Twitter has now started rolling out automatic captions for videos across the platforms including Android, iOS, and its web client. An important thing to note is that automatic captions will be available only on videos uploaded from today onwards.

If you are watching a muted video on your mobile phone, you’ll see captions appear automatically. You have an option to keep captions even after you. Increase the volume of your phone. If you are watching a video on the web, use the “CC” button to turn captions on or off.

Captions are being generated automatically and there is no way to report inaccurate captions. I hope the company will listen to feedback and will add the option to report inaccuracies.
