Rocksteady Studios has released the first gameplay trailer of its upcoming video game Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. The game is based on the long-running DC Comics series of the same name, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It has a group of incarcerated supervillains who have been conscripted by the United States government to undertake missions considered too dangerous for normal approach.

The game was confirmed back in August during DC Comic’s fan-event FanDome. Sefton Hill, the co-founder of Rocksteady Studios, confirmed the gameplay trailer would drop during the Game Awards. As he teased, we now have the trailer.

The game is apparently set in the same universe as the Arkham series. You will be able to play any of the four players and can switch between Suicide Squad members. Other members will be controlled by the CPU.

Rocksteady has an impressive record in making games from the DC Comics universe. The developer is known for its Batman: Arkham series that saw good reception among gamers. 2011’s Batman: Arkham City also on several game of year awards.

We still don’t know when Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be released. The only information we have is that the game will be available on next-gen Xbox, PlayStation, and PC sometime in 2022.
