iQOO has announced its latest 5G smartphone iQOO Neo 5S in its Neo series of smartphones in China.
iQOO Neo 5S comes with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300 nits brightness, and HDR10+. It runs OriginOS Ocean UI based on Android 11.
The phone packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 888 with Adreno 660 GPU. It uses large-area graphite plates, VC soaking plates, and high-conductivity heat dissipation gel from the predecessor. The company has also improved thermal conductivity by up to 200% compared to its predecessor. It comes in several variants including 8+128GB, 8+256GB, and 12+256GB.
The phone features a triple camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera, 13 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 16 megapixels selfie camera.
There is an under-display fingerprint sensor. It has stereo speakers with Hi-Fi audio support. The phone also supports USB Type-C audio.
Connectivity options in iQOO Neo 5S include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 66W superfast flash charging support.
