Online grocery delivery startup Grofers has rebranded as Blinkit. The rebranding indicates the company’s focus on fast deliveries and positioning itself as a leading quick-commerce service provider.

Albinder Dhindsa, Co-founder ofGrofers, Grofers, also tweeted to announce the rebranding.

The rebranding came a few months after the company launched 10 minutes delivery service. This quick delivery model is called quick commerce. It has helped the company a lot in recent months. Now the company claims to process over a million orders every week across 12 cities.

Quick commerce is slowly getting popular. There are also some other players including Zepto, Dunzo, and Swiggy who are focusing on quick deliveries. Swiggy recently announced that it will invest $700 million in quick-commerce vertical Instamart. By January, the company will start offering deliveries in 15 minutes by having a network of dark stores.

In 2022, we will start getting groceries in 10 to 15 minutes from most grocery delivery startups.
